I am writing to express excitement and congratulations for the work you and others have been doing with iask. I read the email this morning and thought - wow, this organization has blossomed so beautifully in such a short period of time. I trust you are very proud of the organization. (I'm also fairly sure that it doesn't seem like a short period of time for you!)

The sisters of iask have been a great comfort to me as a brother in the organization during my battle with Cancer. Simply put God is awesome and He has blessed me with these wonderful sisters to help see me through.

My baby suffered an anoxic brain injury in October of 2007. While iask is an organization primarily focused on issues facing women of color, Sophia Nelson and her sisters have embraced my family as their own since learning of the accident.

iask has been a wonderful blessing to a friend in need. The prayers and gift of love was such a wonderful touch during a very difficult time. I thank God for the thoughtfulness and kindness shown to a stranger. I join my friend in saying thanks and God Bless You.

I am humbled by the support, care, and concern extended to me by the iask organization during my time of bereavement. The cards, flowers, calls, and benevolence were overwhelming and lifted me in a most difficult time. It is a pleasure to be a part of the iask family.

There are many women organizations. Up till now, not many actively reach out to help, support and encourage men to join their mission. The iask organization sees a clear vision, value and victory in having woman and men achieving success together, they really are an inclusive organization.

What I like about iask is the fact that there are so many caring 'children of Christ' who show that they care about each other by sharing hurts, happiness, sorrow and life lessons. It seems that every time I am down or a friend is in need of a positive message, the weekly message of inspiration is right on time! I really enjoy the scriptural references that I can study for myself and share with others as well. I love the messages and keep them in my folders.

The Christmas Tea was my first event with the iask organization but even before that, the connection I had with Sophia and her warm and giving spirit and trying to help promote a sista was really moving to me! It is very rare nowadays when we women of color try to support our own because of jealously and resentment.

I would like to thank iask for the card and prayers in response to my mother's death in December around Christmas. Your thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated during a very stressful and sorrow filled time. the prayers you include in your messages are helpful and thank you for taking the time to be so helpful.

The Sister Holiday Tea was a refreshing surprise! Anytime Sista's can come together on one accord under the umbrella of faith, love, friendship and shared success, is definitely a forward step into a promising future for all. It was time well spent being amongst a productive assembly in the spirit of true womanhood.

I have learned that we will face countless challenges during this earthly journey. For me, iask has proven that if you remain close to God and true to self, you are never alone. I am blessed to be surrounded by, and have access to, so many sisters of faith. iask is truly food for the soul.

The sisters of iask sent me a beautiful card when I was feeling so down about my grandmother being ill. I am usually the person praying for others and encouraging others. It was so humbling and so uplifting to receive encouragement and sincere concern from a group of Christian women, that even though we've never met face to face, are truly my sisters. iask is a wonderful, wonderful support network.

As one that has been driven in the workplace, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. Members of the iask circle rallied around me with encouraging calls educating me through their testimony, thoughtful cards, and random acts of kindness. I am convinced that God sends angels to comfort us, iask was that angel.
I am a breast cancer survivor in 2009; thank you iask for helping me get through.

As a Breast Cancer survivor, I recently had a scare that the Cancer may have come back. Thankfully it did not. The messages of encouragement from iask and its officers meant a lot to me during this time. I was also able to get some short-term financial assistance when I needed it last year. Thanks iask!

I have always been a really charismatic person. I can attract the right people and get things done. From time to time, when the rubber met the road, I would back down. Back down from my destiny, back down from my dreams, and sometimes back down from the very call God has placed on my life. From the outside, you would never know this but I knew.
